A lot of Managers dread appraising their staff almost more than anything else. A lot of staff don’t think much of it either. Badly conducted appraisals can do quite a lot of harm to staff relations. Some organisations see appraisal interviews as perhaps their most powerful and effective instrument for keeping people happy and motivated and for getting the highest productivity and the best value out of them.
